week 12...its realy busy erverywhere! playing with SLA's and potery....all good, Thought i should post something as i havn't for a while, i will be posting some pics of my RSA stuff this friday.
end of week 7...phew, as usual lots to do. It was my birthday last week, pretty close to the release of the latest
matrix flick...i took this as a sign so i had to see it. I loved it! though comical in parts certainly worth the cash. But doesn't come close to Kill Bill, which i have now got the soundtrack for...i am now whistling constantly. Time have listed the inventions of the year. my fav has to be the
no contact jacket.
Its a jacket that the user activates a 80,000-volt shock to any dodgy character who might grab them....neet huh?
Ceramics is coming along nicely and last Wednesday went on a field trip to the centre of the ceramics universe...Stoke-on-Trent. Got to go behind the scenes of the
Wedgwood factory and more importantly there design dept.

Now in to week 5...geess where did all that time go to? Many things all going off at the same time. After getting some samples of some ceramic film from
Kerafol, I had to test some out. The material is similar to leather or card in its green state, then after firing it feels almost like a piece of shell, its fairly opaque to. Freshers flu has finally caught up on me, I am sure sleeping next to a draughty door doesn't help. Highlight of last week has to be seeing
Kill Bill, Tarantino's latest flick. My mates and I found we were the only ones laughing at this black comedy....a must for any film fan!

The end of week 2 here in sunny Leicester, things are now in full swing. I deiced to stick with doing the
RSA ceramics brief after my initial knock back of my concepts from the tutors. I went back to the drawing board and got some enthusiasm on a couple of ideas...phew. The glass and ceramics department are right next to us on campus but I have never been across to the other side until now. I just want to get stuck in and start creating and experimenting with this material.
Some pics of 100% design have been posted
here, on the core77 site. Also some of Escher's drawings achieved in LEGO (well nearly)
take a look.
